Sakura Japanese Bistro in Lynn Haven

The staff was friendly and polite. Large variety of sushi to choose from all delicious and the fried soft shell crab was marvelous. Would recommend this place if 🍣 is what your looking for.

Had a very small town feel from outside but we were very surprised with all the sushi we ordered inside. We were very pleased with our service and our food.

Good food, fast service

Fast service and the food is at great price. The service could be a little more friendly. But overall, the rolls and dinner plates are a good selection. Do wish they would a better children's menu. Appetizers are all really good to start with. I recommend this place for a date night or a gathering.

Overall great place to eat sushi, very good sushi rolls, great service, and excellent food presentation. The only negative, and this is a personal preference, no real Crab, only imitation Krab, and I wish they had more rolls that weren’t fried.

Best sushi and Japanese restaurant in Bay County! I recommend the Bento Box, very clean and cozy atmosphere, staff are very friendly and helpful. Wonderful place for dates or casual evenings with great healthy food!

So delicious! My favorite is the Volcano Roll, Godzilla Roll and Spider Roll. I could eat the Volcano roll everyday. The Tuna Tataki is the best anywhere. Highly recommend Sakura. Good prices for the quality.

I ordered my food off of the Grubhub app and my total was 92.00. The driver was very nice and the sushi was excellent. On the flip note MY 6 YR OLD SON FOUND HAIR IN HIS FRIED RICE! The chicken, salmon and shrimp was way over cooked. Also, the amount of salmon and shrimp you get with the $20 plater was not worth 20 bucks. 🙁

Good sushi with quick friendly service

My favorite sushi spot in town. The service is also excellent with super friendly staff. If you’re in Lynn Haven, and craving sushi, there’s no need to drive further into town for some other overrated sushi place *cough* Finn’s. *cough* Stop here, and order a rainbow roll. You’ll be glad you did.

The sushi is always fresh and fixed beautifully. Our favorite rolls are the Pacific Roll and the Hero Roll. We also recommend the Atlantic Roll and Baymeadow Roll if you like deep fried rolls. Their hibachi and teriyaki are scummy as well.

So glad they are back open, the take out window they installed is great.

Great service and great food 100% of the time

Very busy little restaurant, and for good reason. The service was really lovely and polite, from the young host at the front of house to the sweet waitress for our table. We had not made a booking and it was a full venue when we arrived around 6pm, but the four of us were seated within a couple of minutes and service was quite quick from there. We each had gyoza and a couple of different sushi rolls (godzilla, lynn haven, 2019, dynamite, etc) and each was fresh and delicious. Price were reasonable. The atmosphere is great too. Looks like there are some good lunch deals available throughout the week. I would not hesitate to go again.

Sushi is amazing! After our regular sushi place went downhill, we decided to try somewhere new. This place did not disappoint! Our favorites were the green dragon roll and the sushi rock roll. This will be our new sushi go to and we highly recommend it.

It’s doesn’t deserve 5 stars, it deserves 10. Nothing over seasoned, clean and fresh tasting. True to it’s origins, delicious isn’t strong enough of a word to described the food here. The staff was attentive and yet not intrusive. Me and the wife have a new favorite spot. Pictured is her bento box she picked.

Sushi is very well made, flavorful, and displayed nicely. The rolls are very consistent in all these things.

With Fins off the air in the wake of Michael, Sakura reigns as the premier sushi restaurant in Bay County. Detailed attention to decor and an attentive, ethnic staff create an ambiance almost as good as the food. Even tho we've always found them busy, service is congenial and reasonably prompt without being intrusive. Full bar. A bit pricier than the local cafeterias, but definitely worth the difference when you ave a taste for fish.

Hibachi NY strip was quite good & $3-4 cheaper than the other guys. Crab wonton filling is more like that in crab rangoon. Their yum-yum sauce is the BEST! Sakura lost a star for many minor things that I don't feel like enumerating but you'll understand when you go experience it. Go enjoy 'cause I surely will soon!!! 😎

Good service! The sushi is well prepared and taste delicious and the atmosphere is pleasant too. The food takes awhile to make it to the table but I suppose that's understandable.

Salad just iceberg but the ginger dressing was quite good. Hibachi style scallops most tender and tasty I ever had. Very fresh sushi. Affordable as far as sushi restaurant prices go! Definitely check it out if you like sushi!

Excellent sushi. The sushi rice is just the right texture and taste and the fish is always fresh and served at the perfect temperature for sushi. The Excellent service and visit atmosphere make this the go to place for sushi in Bay County.

Great service and atmosphere! They are the best place to get sushi without going out to the beach hands down and their hibachi is to die for. Highly reccomend for a quick bite of sushi, as they are also not expensive and the service is always fast.

We visited Sakura for lunch. The place was relatively quiet, very clean, and had a nice, soothing atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the choices are pretty extensive. Our service was very attentive and it was one of the best meals we had while visiting Panama City, Florida.

I've been going to Sakura for many years now and not one time have I walked away disappointed. The seating accommodates maybe 40 people, and they are usually full, especially at lunch, so go early or right after lunch hours into early evening. They have some of the best sushi I've had in Panama City, and offer hibachi and tempura as well. The steamed gyozas are a favorite of mine, house soup is awesome as well as the cucumber salad, and I always get the crunchy shrimp sushi. Another local favorite tucked away in a tiny strip mall on Hwy. 77. Freshness that you can seriously taste. Go there. Now.

What can I say about this place but wow! This place is one of few places I consider perfect in Panama City, let alone in the whole area. I go out of my way to savor the experience that is this restraunt at least once a week. If I could give it a 6th star I would.

Well priced Japanese food and sushi the food was delicious atmosphere was awesome and the staff was very kind and friendly. I definitely would recommend this place for a cute date. Or somewhere you like to celebrate a get-together With Friends
